Division Information

Tee Ball
Instructional Tee-Ball for all 4-, all 5- and most 6-year olds.  This is an introductory level of play. Players do not attend  evaluations/asessments. Players play all positions during the season and all players are in the field each inning. Teams will meet twice per week (either 1 game and 1 practice or 2 games; once on Saturday and once during the week) during the regular season (early March through mid-May).  Before the season begins, teams may practice once per week (in February).  Note that league age is determined by the players' age on August 31, 2019.

Minor A (Machine Pitch)
Minor A (Single A) is for all 7-year olds, most 8-year olds, and a small number of advanced 6 year-olds. It is a higher level of play than Tee Ball - outs are recorded and scores are kept. Players play all positions during the season and all players are in the field each inning.  This division will hold several practices in February (before the season begins in early March) and play two games per week during the regular season (early March through mid-to-late May).  Eligibility to play in this division requires all players attend an evaluation/assessment.  Note that league age is determined by the players' age on August 31, 2019.

Minor AA (Player/Machine Pitch)
Minor AA (Double A) formerly referred to as “Minors” is for most 9-year olds, a very few of the most advanced 8-year olds, and any 10-year olds not drafted to a Minors AAA team.  This is a transitional division for players who are prepared for a moderate level of play where live pitching is first introduced and more emphasis is placed on fielding and batting. Pitching will be a mix of machine pitch and player pitch. Also, minimum playtime requirements are in place throughout the season.  Eligibility to play in this division requires all players attend an evaluation/assessment and each player must be willing to commit 3 days per week to baseball, which includes a minimum of 2 games and one practice.  Note that league age is determined by players' age on August 31, 2019.

Minor AAA (Player Pitch)
Minor AAA (Triple A) is for most 10-year olds, a very few of the most advanced 9-year olds, and any 11-year olds not drafted to a team in the Majors division. The AAA division is for players who are prepared for a moderately high level of play. The pitching will be relatively strong, but generally unrefined. There are play-time requirements that include allowing every player to play at least 2 innings in an infield position during each game.  Many players will have a chance to pitch during the season, but 12 year olds in this division are not allowed to pitch. Eligibility to play in this division requires all players attend an evaluation/assessment and each player must be willing to commit 3 days per week to baseball, which typically includes 2 games and 1 practice.  Note that league age is determined by players' age on August 31, 2019.

Majors – (Player Pitch)
The Majors Division is for all 12-year olds (unless waivered down to AAA), most 11-year olds and very few of the highest level 10-year olds.  This division is for players who are prepared for a very high level of play. The pitching is generally quite fast and the speed of the game is rapid. There are play-time requirements that include all players playing a minimum of 3 innings in a defensive position, but no requirement for any player to play an infield position. Eligibility to play in this division requires all players attend an evaluation/assessment and each player must be willing to commit up to four days per week to baseball, which includes a minimum of two games and two practices. Note that league age is determined by players' age on August 31, 2019.
